How To Bet

What are the Odds?

Everyone has heard the term 'odds' but, to the newcomer, it's all just a little confusing. In fact, learning about odds is a little like going back to school and sweating over fractions and decimals. Thankfully, most odds are easily worked out. For instance 'evens' means 1-1. You stake £1.00 and, if your player wins, you are paid out £2.00. £1.00 being your stake, £1.00 being your winnings. It's as simple as that!

Here is a list of the basic odds that are used by this site and bookmakers along with their decimal equivalents and returns (winnings + stake) to, say, a £1.00 unit.
